Raj Acquilla graduated from Manchester University Medical School, UK, in 1999, and during his 18-year medical career has gained 14 years’ experience in cosmetic medicine, performing over 80,000 procedures with BOTOX® and fillers in that time. He is an expert in medical aesthetics, facial contouring and non-surgical facelifts, dermatological surgery (including the treatment of facial skin cancer), and undergraduate and postgraduate clinical education. He runs busy private clinics in Cheshire and London in addition to his own facial aesthetic academy, where he is a recognised masterclass trainer using the latest and most innovative facial rejuvenation techniques. He is a UK ambassador and global key opinion leader, a member of the Scientific Committee for AMWC Global, a board member of IMCAS Worldwide, NW Regional Chair of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine and a faculty member of The European College of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery, and was awarded an honorary fellowship to the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery in Melbourne, Australia. Dr Acquilla has lectured at every major UK aesthetics conference, and has taught extensively in Europe, South Africa, Russia, Middle East, India, Asia Pacific, Australia and New Zealand, Latin America and the USA. To date, he has lectured and taught over 30,000 healthcare professionals in 36 countries over six continents. His ongoing input into worldwide medical aesthetic education and uncompromising approach to excellence has earned him the reputation as one of the leading experts in his field.
